MANILA — Here’s good news for motorists. Fuel companies announced on Monday (27 Feb 20223) a new price rollback this week.
Starting Tuesday (28 February 2023), the prices of diesel products throughout the country will go down by P1.30 per liter oil companies said.
Meanwhile, gasoline prices will drop by P0.70 per liter.
The previous oil price hikes were pegged at P1.50/L and P0.90/L a couple of weeks ago.
Since the start of 2022, gasoline prices have gone up by at least P20.20/L with prevailing retail pump prices ranging from P65.80 to P76.10 per liter for 91-octane gasoline (unleaded).
On the other hand, the price of diesel jumped to as high as P25.90/L.
The current pump prices of diesel range from P62.85 to P71.80 per liter.
