MANILA — Take a bow Bureau of Customs-Port of Batangas.
Under the able leadership of BOC-POB District Collector Atty. Ma Rhea Gregorio and guidance of newly-installed BOC Commissioner Bienvenido Rubio, the Port of Batangas simply did it again.

The port posted what could be the highest revenue collection for BOC for the month just passed, February 2023, the second straight, actually for the year..
With a total cash collection of 17.314 billion pesos, the Bureau of Customs-Port of Batangas has, for the second time this year, topped the collection performance of the collection districts in the entire Philippines for February 2023.
The Port’s collection is approximately 27.54% of the total BOC collection for the month.
The port registered a whooping 2.277 billion pesos surplus or up by 15.14% from its 15.037 billion pesos revenue target.
This month’s performance is notably 22.01% higher than its posted collection of 14.19 billion pesos on February 2022.
The BOC-POB, under District Collector Atty. Ma Rhea Gregorio’s leadership is committed to implementing strict measures to ensure optimal revenue collection.
It may be recalled that in January 2023, the BOC-POB topped also the BOC collection for January 2023 with a total cash collection of 17.33 billion pesos.
POB overshot its target of 13.38 billion pesos with a 3.95 billion pesos surplus.
It was actually 28.40% higher than in the same period last year.
With all modesty, Atty. Rhea M. Gregorio did not take the credit all to herself, instead, she thanked the Port’s stakeholders and acknowledged the collective efforts and dedication of the men and women of BOC-POB. (Ismael Amigo)
