OLONGAPO CITY — In line with the celebration of Women’s Month, the Bureau of Customs (BOC – POS) under the leadership and initiative of District Collector Maritess “Meeks” T. Martin has donated a total of 50 bags of goods to an orphanage in this city.
Martin stressed her belief that sharing and caring for other people, other than those within the Port is likewise important as the BOC-POS under her guidance continues to adhere to its corporate social responsibility (CSR) with the theme “Service With A Heart.”
City Administrator Robert Reginal Paulino on behalf of the City of Olongapo received the donation from Martin and witnessed by City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) chief Jun Pascua.
The recipients would be an orphanage located at Barrio Barretto, including some senior citizens and indigents.
