As the humidity soared to 67 percent, residents scampered to cool off somewhere in Surigao Del Sur, and for the locals, there is nowhere else to go but the famous Enchanted River of Talisay, Hinatuan to escape the scorching heat.
The photo shows every one of them enjoying the clear, blue waters of the mystical river surrounded by thick jungle, vines, and orchids, which has become one of the premier tourist destinations of the province. Other than its beauty, there are tales of mermaids, magical fairies, and spirits at the Hinatuan Enchanted River as well.
