MANILA – The country will experience warm weather with isolated rain showers due to the prevailing easterlies, the weather bureau said Wednesday.
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers will be experienced across Luzon, with the temperature possibly reaching its peak at noon.
“The temperature in Metro Manila may reach up to 33°C but the heat index or the temperature that a person feels may range from 37°C to 40°C,” Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) forecaster Benison Estareja said.
It will also be hot at noon in the Visayas and Mindanao, although isolated rains are expected, he added.
Up to 32°C is forecast in Iloilo and Tacloban but the heat index may reach 38°C, Estareja said.
Up to 34°C is forecast in Davao and Zamboanga.
Light to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas will prevail in the entire archipelago.
Estareja said no tropical cyclone is expected to enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility but a low-pressure area may develop over the weekend. (PNA)
