GEN TRIAS CITY, Cavite — Due to a family problem, an older brother stabbed and killed his younger sibling in this city on Sunday night, May 14, 2023.
The victim was identified as Barry Ebora Cabrera, 27 years old, and the assailant was his older brother, Billy Jan Evora, 31 years old. Both were residents of B18 L42 Ph-6B, Tierra Nevada, Barangay San Francisco, Gen Trias City, Cavite.
Cabrera was rushed to Gentri Doctors Hospital but succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment.
According to witnesses, the siblings were allegedly arguing about family issues at around 10:30 PM, and in the midst of their altercation, the younger brother’s response apparently displeased the suspect, leading to the stabbing.
