MANILA – The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) forecasted fair weather with isolated rain showers over most parts of the country on Wednesday (12 Mar 2025), driven by the easterlies.

However, Eastern Samar is expected to experience scattered rains and thunderstorms, which could lead to flash floods and landslides, with moderate to heavy rains in the area.

Batanes will see light rains due to the northeast monsoon, while other regions will experience isolated rain showers or thunderstorms. Severe thunderstorms could trigger flash floods or landslides, PAGASA warned.

The northern and eastern parts of Luzon will face moderate to strong winds and rough coastal waters, while other areas will have light to moderate winds and calm to moderate seas.

As of 2 a.m., no low-pressure area was detected, and no tropical cyclone formation is expected, according to PAGASA.
