MANILA — A Low-Pressure Area (LPA) was spotted 135 km east of Surigao City as of 3 a.m.

It is expected to bring scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Visayas, Mindanao, and parts of Luzon—specifically the Bicol Region, MIMAROPA, Quezon, and Batangas.

Moderate to heavy rains may cause flash floods and landslides, according to PAGASA.

The rest of the country may see isolated rain showers due to easterlies.
