MANILA — President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. has directed the Department of Education and other concerned agencies to take immediate action in response to the rising cases of bullying in schools.
Castro added that Malacañang, on Monday, condemned the increasing reports of bullying, harassment, and violence in schools and online.
The Palace official further stated that the Department of Education is currently investigating a recent stabbing incident at a school in Las Piñas City.
She noted that DepEd personnel have spoken with a representative from the Schools Division Office as well as the principal of the school where students were involved in the violent incident.
