MANILA — Partly cloudy conditions with sporadic rainfall are expected across much of the Philippines today, attributed to the easterlies, according to the latest report from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Friday (01 March 2024).

While the northeast monsoon influences Northern Luzon, bringing overcast skies with light precipitation to areas like Cagayan, Isabela, and Aurora, the Ilocos and Cordillera regions, along with the rest of Cagayan Valley, will experience partly cloudy to cloudy conditions with occasional light showers.

Expect moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough coastal waters in the northern and eastern parts of the country, while elsewhere, lighter winds and slight to moderate seas prevail.

Temperature forecasts for key areas are as follows: Metro Manila ranging from 22°C to 33°C; Baguio City from 15°C to 24°C; Laoag City from 22°C to 32°C; Legazpi City from 25°C to 31°C; Metro Cebu from 25°C to 31°C; Puerto Princesa City from 24°C to 32°C; and Metro Davao from 25°C to 32°C.
