LA Tenorio, the seasoned PBA player, has received a clean bill of health, as confirmed by Tim Cone, the head coach of Gilas Pilipinas, during a press briefing on Tuesday.
Cone, who also serves as the head coach of Barangay Ginebra, announced that Tenorio, who will act as his assistant for Gilas in the upcoming Asian Games, has completed his final check-ups in Singapore, where doctors have pronounced him cancer-free.
Cone stated, “He has completed all of his chemotherapy sessions, has been declared cancer-free, and he was told that he can begin practicing within days.”
On Tuesday, Tenorio expressed his gratitude on his Twitter account, saying, “God is good!”
He will soon join Cone and the Gilas players for their training camp at the Inspire Sports Academy in Laguna.
