A COMPUTER engineering student of the Mariano Marcos State University was named as the Most Inspiring, Remarkable Youth and Dedicated Youth Advocate of the Year at the Gintong Parangal 2023.
Neijan Earl Gubac, the president of MMSU Advocates for Cultural Development, received the award in Manila.
“As MACD president since 2021, he has advocated for a stronger relationship between the IP and non-IP students, increasing their engagement in relation to their purpose of advocating culture and arts in the university,” MMSU said in a statement.
“He also serves as the circulation manager of the Salidumay Publication, which aims to represent MACD’s notable achievements,” it added.
Now in its second year, the Gintong Parangal recognizes outstanding individuals who have made significant contributions to society.
It includes business leaders, educators, content creators, media, influencers, public servants and entertainers among others.
