Spearheaded by Kilusang Mayo Uno (KMU), various militant organizations gathered for a protest rally at Liwasang Bonifacio in Manila on Monday (27 Nov 2023), three days ahead of the country’s upcoming National Heroes Day celebration on November 30, Thursday.
Other labor groups, including All Workers Unity (AWU), urged the Marcos Administration to recognize all Filipino workers as Modern Day Heroes.
