Absolutely, he really made it!

Barry Manilow has just surpassed Elvis Presley’s long-standing record for the most extended-running show in Las Vegas.

The veteran entertainer thrilled his devoted fans at the Westgate Resort Hotel during a spirited performance on a Saturday night.

What’s even more astonishing is that the iconic “Copacabana” singer has committed to yet another series of Vegas performances scheduled for 2024!

At the age of 80, the crooner born in Brooklyn made the announcement on Saturday, September 23, revealing his intention to kick off a new run in February 2024. Elvis had initially set this record at the famous International Theatre within the hotel.

As a tribute to the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll, Manilow donned a leather jacket and delivered a rousing rendition of Elvis’s classic hit “Hound Dog,” which earned him a standing ovation.

Reflecting on his early musical influences, Manilow shared with the audience how his grandfather had ignited his passion for music.

“Grandpa never gave up. Every Saturday afternoon, he would take me across the Brooklyn Bridge and into Times Square, and he’d feed coins into a contraption. Eventually, I deciphered his intentions, and I sang something for him—I loved it,” he fondly recalled.
