On Friday, October 13, 2023, the dedicated staff of the Malabon City Engineering Office was seen hard at work, diligently repainting ballot boxes in anticipation of the fast-approaching Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Election (BSKE) scheduled for October 30, 2023.
This crucial election will determine the Barangay Captain and seven or eight members of the Sangguniang Barangay, or the Barangay Council, in all of the 42,027 barangays spread across the nation.
