In a somber turn of events, Hollywood heartthrob Ryan O’Neal, renowned for his transition from TV soap operas to an Oscar-nominated role in “Love Story” and his memorable performance alongside his daughter Tatum in “Paper Moon,” peacefully passed away on Friday (08 Dec 2023).
The news was confirmed by his son, Patrick O’Neal, a prominent Los Angeles sportscaster, who shared the announcement on Instagram.
The cause of death has not been disclosed. O’Neal, diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2012 and chronic leukemia a decade prior, leaves behind a rich legacy of cinematic contributions.
