NATIONAL University Assistant Vice President for Research and Development Office Dr. Jessie Barrot is in this year’s list of Top 2% most influential researchers in the world.
He was also one of the 10 highest-ranked researchers across all disciplines.
He ranked first in education and linguistics among all Philippine-based researchers.
“The NU community is proud of your dedication to outstanding academic and research achievements,” the university said.
Almost 200,000 researchers worldwide are included in the list. There are 50 Philippine-affiliated researchers and NU is one of the 11 Philippine HEIs.
The rankings were based on the composite citation metrics made by the teams of statisticians from Stanford University and Elsevier Experts.
