In a recent revelation by the Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission (PAOCC) Usec. Gilbert Cruz, over 80 teachers from provinces such as Bataan and Pampanga fell victim to a fraudulent car loan scheme orchestrated by criminals. PAOCC has taken decisive action by filing criminal complaints against 18 individuals involved in these deceptive practices, specifically targeting educators nationwide.
Addressing concerns at the weekly Kapihan sa Manila Bay forum hosted by Marichu Villanueva on Wednesday (13 Dec 2023), Usec. Cruz emphasized the severity of the situation, shedding light on the plight of deceived teachers entangled in fraudulent car loan transactions.
Furthermore, Usec. Cruz revealed that a significant crackdown on criminal activities led to the imminent deportation of 180 Chinese nationals. These individuals, apprehended in a raid on a POGO building in Pasay City, were suspected of engaging in sex trafficking and online scam operations.
Expressing gratitude for the swift deportation process, Usec. Cruz highlighted the logistical challenges faced by the Bureau of Immigration (BI), underscoring the urgency of removing foreign nationals involved in illicit activities from the country promptly.
The developments marked a pivotal moment in the government’s efforts to combat organized crime and protect citizens from fraudulent schemes and criminal enterprises.

LABIMPITO sa 60 guro mula sa Central Luzon ang nagpasaklolo sa Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission makaraang mabiktima ng umano’y car loan scam.
Ayon kay PAOCC Executive Director, Usec Gilbert Cruz, tukoy na nila ang grupo na nahaharap sa kasong carnapping, estafa at falsification of documents habang iniimbestigahan na rin nila ang iba pang kasabwat ng mga ito.
Nabawi rin ng PNP Highway Patrol Group ang mga sasakyan mula sa sindikato ng car loan scam na bumibiktima sa mga guro.
Ayon sa PAOCC, 17 guro na biktima ng scam mula sa anim na pampublikong paaralan sa Pampanga ang nagpasaklolo sa kanila.

“Kung ikaw, teacher tuwang-tuwa ka dahil may extra P5,000 or P10,000 ka monthly tapos after a while iniisip mo after 2 years or 3 years bawi ko na ‘yung sasakyan, akin na ‘yung sasakyan,” ayon kay Cruz.
Subalit pagkatapos ng tatlo hanggang anim na buwan, bigla na lang umanong mawawala ang suspek tangay ang kotse na inutang ng guro.
Sinabi ni Cruz na ibinebenta rin ng mga suspek ang mga sasakyan na hinatak dahil hindi natutuloy ang paghuhulog.
“Actually ibinebenta rin nila. So, ito minsan ‘yung nabibili na mga talon na sasakyan. Hindi na tinutuloy ‘yung paghuhulog, so, nagagawan pa rin nila ng paraan na maibenta itong mga sasakyan na ito,” dagdag pa ni Cruz.
Ipinagtataka naman ng isa mga nabiktima na nagpa-blotter sa Balanga, Bataan kung paano naaprubahan ang kanyang loan at na-release ang sasakyan na hindi pa niya nakikita.
