On Friday, October 20, 2023, leaders of a transport group known as the “Magnificent 7,” gathered at the central office of the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) in Quezon City as they demanded the reinstatement of the suspended LTFRB Chairman Teofilo Guadiz III, who recently faced allegations of misconduct in relation to the Public Utility Vehicle Modernization Program.
These demonstrators are firm in their demand that President Bongbong Marcos reinstate Chair Guadiz to his position as soon as possible. They argue that the suspension is hindering the progress of the administration’s transportation sector development initiatives.
