NAGWAGI ang Philippine National Robotics team ng bronze medals sa World Robotics Olympiad Friendship Invitational tournament na idinaos sa Denmark mula Setyembre 21 hanggang 24.
Nasungkit nina Sabina Lim at Gevenyl Canlas mula sa Special Education for the Gifted ng Department of Education sa Olongapo City ang ng bronze medal sa Future Innovators Elementary Division sa iskor na 149.50.
Nakopo rin nina Aaron James Amar, Andrea Luz Guevarra at Daniella Angela De Guzman ng Dr. Yanga Colleges, Inc. ang ikatlong puwesto sa Senior Division sa iskor na 170.00.
Sinabi ni Philippine Ambassador to Denmark Leo Herrera-Lim na isang “proud moment” ito para sa mga Pilipino.
“We are delighted that these Filipino students have proven that we have what it takes to be a frontrunner in the field of robotics,” aniya.
