Northern Luzon:

A Shear Line is affecting the eastern section of Visayas, while the Northeast Monsoon is impacting Luzon. Expect cloudy skies with light rains in Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Kalinga, and Apayao. Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with scattered light rains are anticipated in Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Abra, Benguet, Mountain Province, Ifugao, and Aurora due to the North Wind.

Strong winds from the Northeast will prevail in Northern Luzon and the Province of Aurora, making beaches rough to very rough.

National Capital Region:

Quezon province will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms. Metro Manila, Central Luzon (except Aurora), and the rest of CALABARZON will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains.

Light to strong winds from the northeast will prevail, and coastal waters along these areas will be slightly rough.

Southern Luzon:

Expect cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Bicol Region, Northern Samar, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, and Romblon. Strong winds from the Northeast will prevail, leading to rough seas.

The Visayas:

As of 3:00 AM today, a Low Pressure Area (LPA) was located 465 km East of Surigao City, Surigao del Norte (9.3°N, 129.7°E). A Shear Line is affecting the eastern section of Visayas, and the Northeast Monsoon is affecting Luzon.

The Visayas, Palawan, Kalayaan Islands, and Occidental Mindoro will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and/or thunderstorms due to the Shear Line/Trough of LPA.

Moderate to strong winds from the Northeast to North will prevail over the whole Visayas, Palawan including Kalayaan Islands, and Occidental Mindoro, causing moderate to rough seas.

Mindanao area:

Northern Mindanao, Caraga, and Davao Region will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms caused by the Trough of LPA/Shear Line. There’s a risk of possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains. The rest of Mindanao will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the Shear Line/Localized Thunderstorms. Expect light to moderate winds from northeast to north with slight to moderate seas (0.6 to 2.5 meters).
