Heat indices, representing what the temperature feels like to the human body given the relative humidity, ranging from 41°C to 51°C, fall under the category of dangerous levels.

At this stage, individuals are susceptible to heat cramps and heat exhaustion, with prolonged exposure potentially leading to heat stroke, as outlined by the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).

Meanwhile, PAGASA has indicated that the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) affecting southern Mindanao will induce scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Davao Region, Surigao del Sur, South Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat, Sarangani, Zamboanga del Sur, Zamboanga Sibugay, Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi.

In these areas, moderate to heavy rains could trigger flash floods or landslides.

The remainder of the country is expected to maintain fair weather conditions, with isolated rain showers stemming from the easterlies and localized thunderstorms.

According to PAGASA, light to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas are anticipated across the archipelago.
