MANILA — Fair weather is anticipated across the Philippines today Monday (18 March 2024), as reported by the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).

According to PAGASA forecaster Benison Estareja, the prevailing easterlies will bring about isolated rain showers, though no significant winds or heavy rains are expected to disrupt most parts of the country.

Estareja emphasized that any isolated rain showers are likely to occur in the afternoon or evening hours. Furthermore, he noted the absence of cloud clusters developing into a low-pressure area, with no tropical cyclones forecasted to enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility.

PAGASA also predicts light to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas across the Philippine archipelago.

Temperature-wise, Metro Manila is expected to range from 24°C to 33°C; Baguio City, from 16°C to 25°C; Laoag City, from 22°C to 31°C; Legazpi City, from 24°C to 32°C; Metro Cebu, from 26°C to 32°C; Puerto Princesa City, from 24°C to 32°C; and Metro Davao, from 24°C to 34°C.
