MANILA — As of November 27, 2023, at 8:09 am, the influence of the northeast monsoon, known as “amihan,” is impacting Northern Luzon. Expect overcast skies accompanied by light rain in Cagayan Valley, Apayao, Kalinga, Mountain Province, and Ifugao.

The same weather pattern will extend to the Ilocos Region and the rest of the Cordillera Administrative Region, featuring partly cloudy to cloudy skies and occasional light rain, as reported in an update from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).

Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies, with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms attributed to easterlies or localized thunderstorms.

PAGASA has issued a warning about potential flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

In Luzon, moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast will prevail, accompanied by moderate to rough coastal waters.

Visayas and Mindanao, on the other hand, can expect light to moderate winds from the east to northeast, along with slight to moderate coastal waters.

Temperature-wise, the country will see a range from 23°C as the lowest to 31°C as the highest.
