Healthcare workers on Friday took to the streets anew outside the Department of Health in Sta. Cruz, Manila as they pressed for the immediate disbursement of their allowances and a raise in their daily wages.
Healthcare workers are still awaiting the distribution of the Health Workers Emergency Allowance (HEA) and the ONE-Covid Allowance (OCA), commitments that were pledged by President Bong Bong Marcos in recognition of the efforts of frontline workers at the height of the Covid-19 pandemic.
