MANILA — Jasmine Althea Ramilo, an Italy-based Filipina gymnast, will represent the Philippines at the 2024 FIG Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup in Milan from June 21-23.

Ramilo was one of the guests of Philippine Ambassador Neil Imperial during the Diplomatic Executive Night at the Philippine Embassy in Rome on June 11.

Ramilo, 15, expressed gratitude to her family and coaches for their support.

She is the country’s only medalist in rhythmic gymnastics, having won bronze at the 19th Junior Rhythmic Gymnastics Asian Championships in Manila last year and gold at the Maribor International Rhythmic Gymnastics tournament in Slovenia in November.

She also competed in the FIG World Cup in Baku and the Asian Senior and Junior Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships in Tashkent as part of her World Cup preparations.
