INDIANAPOLIS — The 2024 NBA All-Star Game reserves were revealed on Friday, featuring standout players like Golden State Warriors’ Stephen Curry. These reserves will join the starters in the upcoming 73rd All-Star Game scheduled for February 18 in Indianapolis.
Last week, the starters, led by LeBron James and Giannis Antetokounmpo for the Western and Eastern Conferences, respectively, were announced.
The league disclosed the selection of seven reserves for each conference, chosen by 30 head coaches.
Eastern Conference reserves: Bam Adebayo (Miami Heat), Paolo Banchero (Orlando Magic), Jaylen Brown (Boston Celtics), Jalen Brunson (New York Knicks), Tyrese Maxey (Philadelphia 76ers), Donovan Mitchell (Cleveland Cavaliers), and Julius Randle (New York Knicks).
Western Conference reserves: Devin Booker (Phoenix Suns), Stephen Curry (Golden State Warriors), Anthony Davis (Los Angeles Lakers), Anthony Edwards (Minnesota Timberwolves), Paul George (Los Angeles Clippers), Kawhi Leonard (Los Angeles Clippers), and Karl-Anthony Towns (Minnesota Timberwolves).
The NBA will return to its traditional East vs. West format for the All-Star Game.
The Eastern Conference starters include Joel Embiid (Philadelphia 76ers), Jayson Tatum (Boston Celtics), Tyrese Haliburton (Indiana Pacers), and Damian Lillard (Milwaukee Bucks). Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Bucks will captain them.
On the Western Conference side, the starters consist of Kevin Durant (Phoenix Suns), Nikola Jokic (Denver Nuggets), Luka Doncic (Dallas Mavericks), and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (Oklahoma City Thunder). The team will be captained by Los Angeles Lakers forward James, who has been an All-Star starter for the 20th consecutive year.
