FISHERMEN from various communities vehemently opposed the reclamation projects initiated by the Marcos administration as they cited concerns about the detrimental effects on their livelihoods and the environment.
Environmentalists, along with several fishermen’s associations, are urging Malacañang to issue an official written order suspending all reclamation activities along Manila Bay. This call comes one month after President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. announced that he issued an order halting these projects.
