Motorists, commuters and the riding public are collectively pressing the urgent action by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) regarding a pressing issue plaguing Kaingin Road in Sto Nino Parañaque City: potholes. Hundreds of them.

According to commuters, the condition of the road has deteriorated significantly, posing a severe risk to motorists and pedestrians alike.

Residents in the vicinity also claim accidents caused by the perilous potholes occur most of the time. These road craters have grown so deep that drivers are forced to maneuver their vehicles in a zigzag fashion to avoid them, putting their safety in jeopardy. The situation has become untenable, and a swift remedy is imperative.

The riding public could only hope the local government of Parañaque and the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) take immediate action to address this critical problem. The safety of the community is at stake, and “the current state of Kaingin Road is simply unacceptable” they said.
