MANILA — A total of 4,062 bags of garbage were collected after the celebration of the Feast of the Black Nazarene the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said Wednesday (10 Jan 2024).
According to the data released by MMDA, the number covered the dates January 6 to 10 in Manila, Pasay, Caloocan, Ortigas Base, and Nagtahan West.
The garbage bags weigh 86.03 tons, the MMDA said.
Meanwhile, the Quiapo Church Command Post said that this year’s Traslacion gathered a crowd of around 6,532,501.
Traslacion is the transfer of the blessed image from Quirino Grandstand to Quiapo Church. This year it lasted 15 hours before it arrived at the Quiapo Church.
