MANILA — The Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission (PAOCC) reported on Saturday, August 24, 2024, that Wesley Guo, brother of former Bamban Mayor Alice Guo, may have already left Indonesia.

“Although unconfirmed, we received reports last Monday indicating that Wesley Guo might have left Indonesia and is possibly heading towards Hong Kong,” PAOCC spokesperson Dr. Winston John Casio stated during a radio interview.

“We’re still working to verify that information,” he added.

Meanwhile, Casio mentioned that there have been no reports suggesting that the ex-mayor herself has left Indonesia, adding that the PAOCC has been in contact with their foreign counterparts regarding the situation.

“As far as Alice [Guo] is concerned, we haven’t received any updates,” Casio said.

Earlier, two of Alice’s companions, Sheila Guo and Cassandra Li Ong, were sent back to the Philippines after being held by Indonesian immigration authorities.

Casio also noted that authorities are closely monitoring the situation to prevent Alice from fleeing to countries within the “Golden Triangle.” He added that Cambodia might be her next destination, given the Guo family’s business interests in the country.

It can be recalled that the former mayor was last spotted at Kuala Lumpur International Airport.
