Atty. Argel Cabatbat filed a Certificate of Candidacy (COC) as a representative of the first district of Nueva Ecija on Tuesday, October 8.
Cabatbat is a former representative of the Magsasaka Party-list and a native of Guimba, Nueva Ecija.
He aims to continue promoting the rights of farmers to uplift their livelihoods.
“Bukod sa titiyakin natin ang kapakanan ng mga nasa distrito uno, isusulong at ipaglalaban din natin ang karapatan ng mga magsasaka upang mapaunlad ang kanilang buhay at pamumuhay,” he said.
Cabatbat believes the voice of the public should be heard in the House of Representatives and that their needs should be addressed.
“Dapat ang publiko ang masunod at hindi ang politiko.”
