The Philippine National Police (PNP) Regional Office 4A Chief Police Brigadier General Paul Kenneth Lucas said Saturday that they are looking for the owner of the car of the missing beauty queen Catherine Camilon who remains missing since October 12, 2023.

However, they found out that the owner of the car Camilon used on the day she went missing, used a fictitious address upon purchase of the car.
“As of today, hinahanap pa natin iyong bumili ng sasakyan kasi nga iyong nakalagay doon sa deed of sale (n’ya) is fictitious iyong address na nakalagay,” Lucas revealed.

“So iyong HPG (Highway Patrol Group), sila po iyong naghahanap ngayon noong tao na nakalagay sa deed of sale ng sasakyan ni Catherine,” the official added.

Person of interest
Earlier, the police said that the person of interest in the disappearance of Camilon was a cop, saying that there was a text message that the police officer gave the car to the beauty queen.

“The text message contains information from the close friend about the romantic relationship of Catherine and the police officer, and that the police officer was the one who gave the vehicle Catherine used which was caught on the CCTV footage,” police earlier said.

“On the text message, the friend also mentioned that Catherine and the police officer agreed to meet on the day of her disappearance,” it added.

Camilon was a public high school teacher and candidate for Miss Grand Philippines 2023.
