MANILA — The environmental group Ecowaste Coalition urged the public not to use sexual enhancement products that are not approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), especially as Valentine’s Day is fast approaching.
The EcoWaste Coalition identified capsules, pills, creams, gels, and oils that would boost sexual performance as well as food supplements that would stimulate sexual drive or drugs for those with erectile function problems.
According to the group, these were currently easily purchased from street vendors and online.
The group also stressed that such products have hidden ingredients or components similar to prescription drugs and these have serious side effects.
The group advised the public who wanted to use sexual enhancement to consult their doctor before using the product.
