Physicians gathered on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, in Sampaloc Manila and proceeded to the premises of the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) to attend the preliminary proceedings on their grievances with the agency against Dr. Lorraine Marie T. Taboy.

With banners in hand, the assembled group leveled allegations at Dr. Badoy, asserting that her injurious remarks aimed at Dr. Natividad “Naty” Castro, a certified medical practitioner deeply involved in community healthcare, amounted to “red-tagging.”

Dr. Taboy had implicated Dr. Castro as an active participant within the CPP-NPA-NDF, supposedly participating in activities like recruitment, training, and fundraising.

Furthermore, they implored the commission to take punitive measures against Dr. Taboy and to revoke her medical license due to the allegations and red-tagging allegedly directed at Dr. Castro. (AI/MNM)
