MANILA — Former presidential spokesperson Harry Roque said Tuesday that ex-president Rodrigo Duterte does not need to react on the court’s decision, allowing the Leila De Lima to post bail.
Roque, presidential spokesperson of Duterte before, said that the former president was not involved about drug case De Lima.
After completing the bail processes and undergoing a physical examination, the ex-senator was released from the Philippine National Police (PNP) Custodial Center in Camp Crame, Quezon City on Monday night.
De Lima said that she will be restoring her normal life “very soon” after the court granted her bail and walked out of six-year detention.
