MANILA – The easterlies will continue to affect the eastern part of the country on Sunday (30 June 2024), according to the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).

Cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms are expected over the Davao Region, as stated in PAGASA’s 4 Sunday bulletin.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms are forecasted for Caraga, Eastern Visayas, Bicol, and the provinces of Quezon and Aurora, also due to the easterlies.

For the rest of the country, localized thunderstorms will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms. PAGASA warned of possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

No tropical cyclones or low-pressure areas are being monitored inside or outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.

The entire archipelago will experience light to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas.

Forecasted temperatures are as follows:

– Metro Manila: 26°C to 33°C

– Baguio City: 18°C to 25°C

– Laoag City: 25°C to 33°C

– Legazpi City: 25°C to 32°C

– Metro Cebu: 27°C to 32°C

– Puerto Princesa City: 25°C to 32°C

– Metro Davao: 26°C to 33°C
