DOH WARNS PUBLIC AGAINST INDIVIDUALS POSING AS DIRECTOR BANZON

MANILA — The Department of Health (DOH) has issued a warning about individuals fraudulently posing as Johanna S. Banzon, Director of the Health Human Resource Development Bureau (HHRDB), and soliciting donations.

The fraudulent activities have been traced to the following phone numbers: (0955) 740-6258 and (0935) 789-2114.

“The DOH clarifies that these cellphone numbers are not, in any way, associated with the HHRDB or with Director Banzon,” the department stated. “Such transactions constitute fraud and are illegal.”

The DOH emphasized that criminal charges may be pursued if these actions persist.

The public is strongly urged to obtain information only from legitimate sources and platforms, including the DOH’s official channels.
