MANILA — Constitutional Law expert Atty. Domingo Cayosa stressed that lawyers have the obligation to follow the law, adding that ordering to kill a person is not in accordance with law.

Cayosa was referring to the remarks made by Vice President Sara Duterte-Carpio, who is also a lawyer.

The former Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) president said that the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) has grounds to file a case against Duterte-Carpio as the threats were made public.

It can be recalled the Vice President made death threats against President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., the First Lady and House Speaker Martin Romualdez recently.
