PAGASA explains that the heat index represents what the temperature feels like to the human body when relative humidity is factored in with the air temperature.
To cope with the extreme conditions, the public is urged to minimize outdoor activities, particularly during noon, and to stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water.
Individuals venturing outdoors are advised to utilize umbrellas, hats, and clothing with sleeves.
Meanwhile, the easterlies are expected to bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms across the nation.
Throughout the archipelago, light to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas are anticipated.
