MANILA – The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) reported Sunday (09 July 2024) that two weather systems are causing cloudy skies and scattered rains across various regions.
The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) would bring rain showers to Mimaropa, Western Visayas, and the Zamboanga Peninsula. Meanwhile, the easterlies are causing similar weather conditions in the Bicol Region, Aurora, and Quezon.
Metro Manila and most of Luzon will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies. The rest of the country will have similar weather conditions due to the ITCZ.
Light to moderate winds with slight to moderate seas are expected across the entire archipelago.
