MANILA – Amid cheering supporters waving banners, Agri party-list Representative Wilbert “Manoy” Lee became the first senatorial aspirant to file his Certificate of Candidacy (COC) for the 2025 national and local elections.
Lee submitted his COC at the Manila Hotel Tent City at around 8 a.m. on Tuesday, October 1, 2024.
Running under the Aksyon Demokratiko party, a beaming Lee expressed his commitment to continue his advocacy in the Senate.
“We want to show our fellow citizens that we are serious in what we do. We will fight for it, we will continue in the Senate,” Lee said.
The Bicolano lawmaker pledged to push for more accessible healthcare and an increase in PhilHealth benefits.
