917Ventures, one of Southeast Asia’s largest venture builders and the innovation arm of Globe, has partnered with GSMA Open Gateway to integrate Concati, its API marketplace, into a global initiative that enables a common interoperable network using open standard interfaces.

Concati is the newest addition to 917Ventures’ portfolio. It connects developers and businesses to a wide range of APIs making it easier to unlock, simplify, and monetize digital capabilities, driving faster innovation and supporting growth across various industries.

The partnership with GSMA Open Gateway strengthens Concati’s mission to foster a global, collaborative ecosystem that drives efficiency, scalability, and technological advancement.

“Concati is more than just an API marketplace— it’s a catalyst for transformation. By partnering with GSMA Open Gateway, we are not only extending our capabilities beyond our walls but also contributing to a global framework that prioritizes interoperability, innovation, and seamless connectivity,” said Vince Yamat, Managing Director of 917Ventures.

The GSMA Open Gateway brings together mobile network operators representing over 75% of mobile connections worldwide to create an open and scalable digital environment for businesses and developers.

917Ventures, the venture builder of Globe Telecom, is collaborating with Bridge Alliance through Concati, its newest addition to its portfolio, as a channel partner for the Bridge Alliance API Exchange (BAEx), strengthening efforts to expand Application Programming Interface (API) accessibility and interoperability across multiple markets.

BAEx enables enterprises with multi-market telco API access through a single contract, a single integration, and a unified support system, unlocking new opportunities for digital transformation.

The collaboration enhances Concati’s position as an emerging API marketplace, providing seamless global access to telco capabilities for authentication, fraud prevention, connectivity solutions, and more.

Concati’s involvement in BAEx benefits developers, enterprises, and mobile network operators (MNOs) through simplified integration and streamlined processes, reducing time-to-market for new digital services.

Moreover, with access to key telco APIs such as Number Verification and SIM Swap Authentication, businesses can strengthen fraud prevention and user authentication, improving overall security and experience.

Concati’s role as a BAEx channel partner reinforces its commitment to providing scalable, interoperable solutions for enterprises navigating the API economy.

“We are excited to partner with Bridge Alliance to make it easier for enterprises, developers, and mobile network operators to tap into telco capabilities, helping them innovate faster and simplify complex processes,” said Vince Yamat, Managing Director of 917Ventures, parent company of Concati and the tech innovation arm of Globe.

Boon Chee Loo, SVP, Roaming & Products at Bridge Alliance, emphasized the impact of the partnership: “Our collaboration with Concati aligns with our mission of making APIs more accessible and easier to integrate across multiple markets. By working together, we are driving the adoption of telco capabilities on a broader scale.”

The collaboration also supports the growing industry movement towards open APIs and interoperability, as seen in global initiatives like the GSMA Open Gateway.
