MANILA – The Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) reaffirmed its commitment to sustaining the success of the Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino (4PH) program following a surge in public support for President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.
A recent Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey revealed that 59% of Filipinos are satisfied with the administration, with President Marcos earning strong ratings for disaster relief (+65) and housing initiatives (+49).
DHSUD Secretary Jose Rizalino Acuzar highlighted that the department is inspired by these positive results and remains dedicated to expanding 4PH, which has already seen housing units delivered to beneficiaries since December.
Currently, 56 4PH projects are underway across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, including completed condominium-type units.
The DHSUD is also active in disaster relief, providing housing materials, essentials, and cash assistance to victims of recent typhoons under the Integrated Disaster Shelter Assistance Program (IDSAP).
“We draw motivation from this approval to continue doing more for the Filipino people, especially the poor,” Acuzar said, emphasizing the administration’s focus on providing safe, affordable housing for those in need.
