MANILA — Award-winning actress Charo Santos-Concio has stepped back into an executive role at ABS-CBN, her longtime home network.
ABS-CBN Corporation has welcomed back Santos-Concio, former president and CEO, to its board of directors.
Following the unfortunate passing of lawyer Augusto Almeda-Lopez, ABS-CBN’s Board of Directors elected Santos-Concio to fill the vacant seat.
Throughout her tenure, Santos-Concio has held various pivotal positions within the company, including president and CEO, chief operating officer, chief content officer, president of ABS-CBN University, executive advisor, and head of Channel 2 Mega Manila Management.
Santos-Concio’s outstanding contributions have been recognized globally, earning her titles such as Asian Media Woman of the Year by ContentAsia, Woman of the Year by the Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards, and the esteemed Gold Stevie Award in the Female Executive of the Year category for Asia, Australia, or New Zealand in the Stevie Awards for Women.
A graduate with honors from St. Paul’s College in Manila with a degree in Communication Arts, Santos-Concio furthered her education by completing the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School in 2007.
