IMEE SKIPS ADMIN CAMPAIGN RALLY, SAYS SHE CAN’T ACCEPT WHAT WAS DONE TO FPRRD

MANILA — Senator Imee Marcos announced she will not attend the administration’s campaign rally in Tacloban, stating she cannot accept what was done to former President Rodrigo Duterte.

“Nagpapaumanhin ako sa mga kababayan kong Waray na hindi ako makakadalo sa rally mamaya sa Tacloban,” she said in a social media post.

“HINDI KO MATANGGAP ANG GINAWA KAY FPRRD.”

“I am studying the events carefully to shed light on the situation and come up with a truthful solution regarding the actions taken against the former president,” the senator added.

Despite this, Imee remains part of the admin-led Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas slate, even as she has announced her intention to run as an independent candidate in the 2025 midterm elections.
