MANILA — The National Development Company (NDC) and the Toll Regulatory Board (TRB) have formalized agreements for acquiring land in Pandacan, Manila, essential for the Metro Manila Skyway Stage 3 (MMSS3) project.
The signing, which took place on June 11 at NDC’s Philippine Innovation Hub, was led by NDC General Manager Anton Mauricio and TRB Executive Director Alvin Carullo.
The agreements include a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) and Deeds of Absolute Sale for a 1.3-hectare parcel from NDC’s 5-hectare property, which the Skyway project has divided into three sections. The acquisition covers areas impacted by both the main alignment and the interconnection structures of the Skyway.
“This agreement ensures a smooth and equitable process for acquiring properties affected by the Skyway project,” stated the NDC.
Mauricio emphasized the commitment to responsible urban development, thanking TRB for their cooperation. Carullo highlighted the joint effort to deliver infrastructure projects that respect property rights and promote sustainability.
