MANILA – Malacañang on Tuesday released the names of newly appointed officials to the National Irrigation Administration (NIA), National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and Land Transportation Office (LTO).
President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. tapped Robert Victor Seares Jr. as NIA deputy administrator, according to a Facebook post by the Presidential Communications Office (PCO).
Prior to his new government post, Seares worked as administrator of the National Tobacco Administration. He also served as mayor of Dolores town in Abra province.
The PCO likewise announced the appointment of Eric Mercado to the NBI, holding the rank of Director II.
Marcos designated Ma. Lourdes Pancho as provincial trade and industry officer of the DTI.
Robert Kiunisala was appointed Director I of the LTO, the PCO said.
The PCO added that Jose Tomas Sr. will serve as member of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan in Nueva Vizcaya province. (PNA)
