MANILA — Palace Press Officer and Undersecretary Claire Castro assured that the government would comply with the Supreme Court (SC) should it issue a final ruling on the transfer of excess funds from the Philippine Health Insurance Corp. (PhilHealth) to the national treasury, to finance priority public projects and programs.
Meanwhile, on the pending PhilHealth issue before the SC, Castro urged the public to wait for the Court’s ruling on the “zero subsidy” for the state health insurance agency.
Oral arguments before the SC on the PhilHealth transfer are ongoing, with the next session set for March 4.
