MANILA — Health workers from the Manila Medical Center participated in the 3rd Quarter CY 2023 Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) on Thursday, September 7, 2023, in Metro Manila.
At exactly 2 o’clock in the afternoon, the siren sounded as a signal that the NSED has officially started its nationwide Dock, Cover, and Hold earthquake drills.
The NSED is a quarterly drill that aims to give the public awareness on disaster preparedness and also demonstrate the government potential response to disasters. (Benjie Cuaresma/ai/mnm)
